Our custom-designed building for the world-leading manufacturer of carbon fibre components, also earmarked the start of Phase One for the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone’s development of land at the eastern gateway of Blackpool.

One of our initial projects for the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone was to create the design for Multi-Ply Components’ £7m new headquarters.
Multi-ply are world leading specialists in the design and manufacture of carbon fibre components for medical x-ray imaging. Multi-ply relocated 70 staff from three existing sites to the purpose-built commercial building. The new premises enable Multi-ply to drive forward its ambitious expansion plans, expecting to initially create 16 new jobs with up to 100 further staff appointments over the next five years.
Completed in September 2021, the new building also represented a significant move forward with regeneration plans for the area, providing a catalyst for future private sector development and further investment over the next few years.
The £7m development, built by Eric Wright Construction, was delivered on time and to budget on behalf of Blackpool Council with Lancashire Enterprise Partnership’s Growth Deal funding.
